Welcome to Galway Uke Fest, a celebration of all things ukulele in the heart of Galway. Over 4 days, from Thursday June 19th to Sunday 22nd, 2025, the city will come alive with music, workshops, and good vibes, offering something for everyone—whether you’re a seasoned player, a total beginner, or just love great live music. Set in Galway’s Latin Quarter and West End, it’s the perfect mix of fun, creativity, and community. So grab your uke (or just yourself!) and join us for an unforgettable festival filled with music and magic.

Due to increased demand, the festival will look a bit different this year. Our festival kicks off with an exciting opening event on Thursday evening and will wind down on Sunday afternoon. Throughout the weekend, we’ll host plenty of play-alongs across Galway’s West End and Latin Quarter. Don’t forget our festival staples, the Golden Uke Competition, Festival Clubs, Children’s concert, as well as our infamous Flashmob which is taking a new shape this year as a rocking’ stroll down around Galway’s streets.

Here's how it works: If you buy a festival ticket you’ll receive the full program for 2025 once programming is finalised. Please keep an eye on your emails. We'll send you an email where you can select your preferred concerts, bonus event and workshops, tailoring your festival experience to suit your tastes. Once you’ve completed the form you will receive your tickets via QR code by email.
Yes! Tickets for individual shows and workshops go on sale in 2025. However, due to demand/capacity we cannot guarantee that Friday/Saturday night concerts will be available.
Due to an increase in numbers, the flashmob will become a rockin’ stroll through Galway streets. Full details and songsheet will be available soon.
We will releasee a form in 2025 to sign up. Keep an eye on our socials.
Yes! Songbooks will be available to download in 2025. A very limited number of print outs will be available during the festival. For 2025 we have several themed play-alongs from Golden Oldies to Rock n Roll.
No unfortunately we will not have a cloakroom in 2025.
