Welcome to Galway Uke Fest, a celebration of all things ukulele in the heart of Galway. Over 4 days in June, the city comes alive with music, workshops, and good vibes, offering something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned player, a total beginner, or just love great live music.

Set in Galway city centre it’s the perfect mix of fun, creativity, and community. So grab your uke (or just yourself!) and join us for an unforgettable festival filled with music and magic. Events will begin late afternoon Thursday 18 June and wind down on Sunday afternoon.

We have 2 different types of tickets currently on sale. A festival ticket which gives you access to concerts and workshops, and a concerts only ticket which gives you access to evening performances. More information can be found on our ticketing site here.

We’ll be returning to Fr. Burke Park with an even better Festival Hub in 2026 which will be open to everyone to enjoy (not just ticket holders!). The hub will feature more food and craft vendors, a dedicated box office, and the bar will once again be run by Taylor’s Bar, keeping the pints flowing all weekend with fun pop up public events. Workshops and playalongs will also take place on site, making Fr. Burke Park a true one stop shop for music, sessions, tickets, refreshments and all things Galway Uke Fest.

A Galway Uke Fest favourite, Marc Gallagher returns in 2026 with his trademark blend of sharp songwriting, big personality and seriously impressive musicianship. From pop-infused originals to jaw-dropping covers, his sets are always full of warmth, humour and heart.
